You can set up autoresponders to help keep your recipients automatically informed when ever an email is sent to you. For example, perhaps you are going on holiday, with autoresponders you can automatically reply to received messages with a message telling them you are on holiday and when you will be back.

Autoresponders are also useful if you want to send a confirmation of receipt- this way you can inform your customers you have successfully received their message.
